Long Lost Project

I've been on an organizing kick for the past few weeks and I'm slowly working on cleaning out various closets, drawers, baskets and bags. Over the weekend I was cleaning out knitting storage containers and came across this long forgotten WIP. I had to look up on ravelry when I started it and I'm embarrassd to admit that it was over 3 years ago! Good grief!

Even worse, I'm not even halfway done yet! It's a fairly easy pattern but it does require some concentration because if you lose track of where you are, it's very easy to mess the whole thing up. Now that I've rediscovered it though, I'm determined to finish it this year. Good thing I still have over 10 months left!

In sewing news, I've made a little bit of headway on my pluses quilt. 3 rows down, 15 to go. I love how it's coming together and will hopefully have some time in the next few days to knock out some more rows. They don't take as long as I was expecting so that's a good thing.

Also, my Valentine's giveaway ends tomorrow morning so stop by and enter to win!

Love your pluses! I really like breaking them up a little with the white.

I am so glad that I am not the only one with UFOs... i have a few that I would need to go back and figure out how to knit them again! It's a gorgeous pattern -

You're not alone. The bunny plush I recently blogged about took me, I think, 3 years to get around to.
I'm really good at STARTING things...

I would love to learn to knit, but I worry that if I do, I will never finish anything and amass a huge pile of UFO's! Kudos to you for getting this one out and finishing it up! Love the pluses, too - that's going to be a pretty quilt.
