Happy 4th everyone! Columbus is a little weird because they don't have their big fireworks display on the 4th. Something about not competing with the smaller cities in the area so Chris and I went to see the fireworks last night.

The weather here has been unusually beautiful the last week or so and it was a great night to hang out down by the river (I don't think I'll ever be able to type "down by the river" without thinking of that one Chris Farley skit). Typically we're sweltering with highs in the upper 80s and high humidity, but we've had temps in the upper 70s with low humidity. It's almost like I'm back in LA!
I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday and long weekend as much as Chris and I are! No big plans for us, but it's been awesome having some extra time to get things done AND relax.

You got some great pictures there! (Not that I would expect anything less.) Happy 4th!
Great pictures! We missed you guys at the lake, but the fireworks were less than stellar. It had drizzled much of the day (including during the fireworks), and so many of the fireworks were obstructed by hazy smoke.
Speaking of the lake...we need to start thinking about planning meals!
Chris and I were wondering if the fireworks went on. Red White and Boom was great.
I was thinking about meal planning the other day! I think we definitely need a repeat of Mexican night! We should brainstorm now and talk about the plans at Grandma Hall's b-day party.
Gorgeous last shot!!!
We expected to see fireworks in Vegas . . . we sat outside for dinner the night of the 4th thinking we'd have a great viewing spot. There were people lined up on the strip and on the over-strip bridges, we assumed waiting for the fireworks. But NO FIREWORKS materialized. Weird?!
Thanks everyone :)
Wow! I can't believe there were no fireworks in Vegas!
