A week or two ago I read a post on JC Handmade's blog about what summer means to her and decided to do a post of my own. I'd say I timed it to coincide with the first day of summer, but it's only partially true. I've been meaning to post it and set today as my deadline to finally get around to it. So here it is, a few things that mean summer to me...
Birthdays (all of my 4 of parents, Chris' parents, Chris' grandma, my sister and one of Chris' sisters have birthays between the first week of May and the first week of August)
Fireflies (hard to get a pic of them)
Running outdoors (it's hot but I prefer running in the heat than the cold)
A veggie garden
Sunbathing
Napping in the shade
Vacation at Indian Lake
Kicking back with a good bookFresh fruit and veggies
BBQs and games with family and friends

This year for the first time in more than four years, summer means Vacation! My year round school just went traditional. No more working in the summer! Your dogs are killing me with their cuteness by the way.
